Baby Basics Project aims to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby. Baby Basics support families in rural Siem Reap working with village midwives, healthcare providers and community leaders to provide support directly where it is most needed.

Baby Basics provides much needed essentials and equipment to mothers and families who are unable to provide these items for themselves; including but not limited to teenage mums, single mothers and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking.

The aim is to help these new mothers practically and generously, demonstrating the love of others through our care. Cambodia suffers from a shortage of trained healthcare workers and many clinics often lack reliable electricity and other supplies needed to provide quality maternity care.

Baby Basics give mothers and their newborns a chance to survive and thrive. The simple act of giving to those who need a helping hand in our community, and sharing the joy of being a parent, is at the heart of the Baby Basics Project. We honor the love that families have for their newborns and their heart held desire to do the best for their children.
